1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, Barclay trucks, transport, cabs, transporter trailers, slush mold, slush cars, metal wheels, lead, die cast are some of the terms used to describe these beautiful little vintage, antique, no name cars from my past. For years I never knew the brand name because it is not stamped on any of these cars and only a few of the trucks. I do not own all of the items shown here but most of them are mine or will soon be. There are many more on the way. Please check back for updates & more pictures. Please don't forget to "REFRESH" your browser each time you visit to see changes. I update quite often so check the date above.

Yes, I carried these Barclay Transporter toy cars in my lunch box in Angles Camp California. I never had the transporter truck because I never liked them. They were so much bigger than the cars. I bought the cars for a nickel in the dime store where they were placed in bins.
I could not wait to get home and play with them in the dirt.

This picture from the the collection of Doug the "BARCLAYMAN"
These are mine so far. I have more cars on the way and more transporter trucks.
